Multicultural Affairs

MAC Programs

Multicultural Affairs promotes and provides services that work to build a supportive environment in which all students can develop a stronger understanding and appreciation for the multicultural diversity represented at Truman State University while valuing being part of our shared campus community. We strive to develop academic and cultural programs that focus on the holistic needs of students. As a result, each year we sponsor/cosponsor between 50 and 150 programs for individuals to take part in. Majority of MAC programs are free and open to the public.

In the past we have had significant collaborations with  Admissions, Business and Accountancy, Center for Teaching and Learning,  Social Science, Science, Education, McNair, University Career Center, President’s Office, SERVE Center, University Counseling Services, Upward Bound, Residential College Program,  Public Relations, Advancement and Alumni Affairs, Fine Arts, Center for International Education, Center for Student Involvement, Athletics, various student organizations and many more.
